FAQ
Questions we get asked
How much does video production cost?
A full-service video with Mensch Creative, including strategy, shooting and post-production, usually starts at around €4,000. International shoots, cinematic commercials and heavy visual effects cost more. After a short discovery call we send a detailed quote.
Where is Mensch Creative based?
Mensch Creative is a video production company registered in Berlin, Germany. From Berlin we work with independent partner crews worldwide, and we have produced in more than 50 countries.
Can you film in remote or difficult locations?
Yes. Most of our impact work happens in places with difficult logistics: farms, factories, rural clinics and field programmes. We plan permits, travel, safety and local crews before the shoot, and keep a producer on the ground to handle changes.
Can you handle urgent, short-notice projects?
Yes. Our partner network lets us put a full production team on location at short notice. For British International Investment in Zambia, the location was confirmed one day before filming.
Do you only do full productions?
No. Besides full production, you can hire us for post-production only, for 2D and 3D motion design and VFX, for a crew on location, or for creative development such as scripts and storyboards.
Who do you work with?
Companies and brands, NGOs, UN and multilateral agencies, development finance institutions, foundations, government development agencies and industry associations. Clients include GSMA, GIZ, British International Investment, BFA Global, Vodafone and Siemens Energy.
What kind of post-production and motion design do you do?
We do editing, 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, colour grading and sound design in-house, from logo animations to full animated brand films.
How do you handle feedback?
You review the work at fixed points: the treatment, the script, the rough cut and the fine cut. Each stage is signed off before the next begins, so late changes stay small.
What makes a good video brief?
A good brief says who the film is for, what they should do after watching, where it will be shown, and what must not be left out. That is all we need to start. We help with the rest in the first call.
